
Dora de Assis
Dora de Assis is an actress, playwright, author, and visual artist. Her two books, “Poesia Rouca” (2020) and “Lagartixa Sem Rabo” (2024), were published by Editora Philos. She holds a degree in Visual Arts from UERJ (2021) and a degree in Performing Arts from CĂ©lia Helena (2024). She has worked as an actress for eleven years, with her film debut in the film “Mate-me Por Favor” (2015) by Anitta Rocha da Silveira. Her latest work in cinema was as Sandra PĂŞra in “Homem com H” by Esmir Filho and as Daniela in “Adeus, VerĂŁo!” by Diego de Jesus. On stage, she co-authored the play “FELICIDADE Ă€ VENDA” (2024), directed by Natasha Corbelino, in which she also appears as an actress, alongside her parents, LucĂlia de Assis and Alexandre Dacosta. She is the author and actress of the play “ponto ZER0” (2023-2024), directed by DĂ©bora Lamm. On television, she was one of the protagonists of “Malhação: Toda Forma de amar” (2019-2020). This year, she makes her debut as Margarida Guedes Penteado, one of the protagonists in the feature film “Mário de Andrade, O Turista Aprendiz” by Murilo Salles.
